On Friday I visited the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a popular tourist destination on the Atlantic Shore at Table Bay Harbour. The waterfront is lined with bustling shops and restaurants just steps away from the ocean. Boat captains advertise hour long cruises around the bay to the sound of brass bands and African drum performers.
From the Spirit of Victoria, the small sailing yacht that carried us around the bay, I saw the best view of Cape Town that I have seen since I’ve been here. Although I didn’t get to see any whales, we passed just a few feet from seals sun bathing on a buoy, and the Cape Town coastline more than made up for the lack of whales.
Very scenic – great pictures!
You are turning into a one-person “National Geographic”, Kenzie! Great job covering all of these great scenes! You make us feel like we were there!
