I took a 13-hour night bus to Hoi An, a coastal city with colorful architecture. I spent most of my time there wandering around the Old Town and near the river. Once a major port and silk exporter, Hoi An is still known for its tailors, where custom-made clothes can be bought for a fraction of the prices at home. So, I went to the cloth market and bought a custom-tailored dress, jumpsuit and romper (I didn’t initially mean to buy three, but it was really fun).
The other thing I did in Hoi An was take a Vietnamese cooking class. We took round bamboo boats to the class. Also, I am a master chef. See evidence below:
